Adapted to killLong before the epidemic, Seiryah was always a calm beautiful child. She would always look up to her brother, Kazuma, for anything, he being the protector for his younger sister. It was hard to live in North Korea. The life style was poor as well as their economical finances were low, always being in debt. Her father grew sick of the way they were living and he moved back to Persia with his family. After a while of living there it was worse, working long hard hours to come home with very little income.
Despising the struggle, her father moved back to Korea, asking his previous employer for a way to move to the United States for a job. His boss agreed, sending him and his family to the United States. Adapting wasn't hard for Seiryah or Kazuma. They made many friends over the few months in school until a virus began to spreed rapidly. Many people grew ill, infected with the unknown disease which led to cancellation of school, as well as going into hiding. Seiryah's father knew all well of the virus. His previous employer had contacted a science facility which was in need of a doctor and they were to train her father into a known scientist. He and a few co-workers where working on a cure for the illness that was spreading. After the long years it seemed he did find a cure. His family were in hiding at the base, but most of the humans that were held at the facility by base were now changing, morphing into what is now known as Zombies. His family was trapped in the building, only having enough food for a few days before they began to go into a state of starvation. Sadly, the scientists didn't think it would work, not having placed it under experiment. They also only had one antidote for one person of small body. Her father had it in his pocket, discussing it to his wife that Seiryah was to be the experiment. After many arguments, she agreed after her son, Kazuma, proclaimed that if the medicine were to work, she would still survive. After a few days of wondering, her father placed her out in the hall, leaving her to find out if it were to really work. After a long while of waiting, a Zombie had appeared. She was scared, regardless of being blindfold she heard everything. The sounds of the hungry zombie made her back away into a corner leaving her trapped, crying for help. Yet, it was to late. She was bit. After the zombie had left the child bleeding, her father ran to her, picking her up and taking her back to their sheltered room. After he took a small sample of her DNA he noticed her cells unchanged, and she wasn't going to become a Z-Carnivore like the rest of the humans. Year's have passed since that accident. It took Seiryah weeks to heal from the bite marks, but she did. When she woke up her brother Kazuma was the only survivor left along with her it only being them both to survive alone. After that long year of being watched and taken care of by her brother, he seemed to act the same. He was bold, daring, and strong. It seemed as he was never scared of anything. Seiryah admired his strength and she placed in mind to be like him. After a few months of training, she became an expert killer, regardless of being bit again after another she remained human, and she loved the power of being invincible. One night she was separated from her brother, Kazuma, as they were looking for supplies and food. After that night she had never again seen her brother for the remaining of the time she had been alive. Giving up, she knew he most likely become a Zombie, and that she would have to kill him, when ever the time came. Now she roams the streets by day, when the Zombies are to weak to fight back and hides or fights by night, struggling to fin any survivors. With as much luck as she was having, it was most likely not going to happen... |
"That's the thing about zombies. They don't adapt and they don't think. Literally, you could have a zombie on one side of a chain link fence and you could be on the other side and they could be trying to get to you and six feet down could be an open door and they will not go through that door in the fence. That's why they're so scary."
"Living in such filth, society as well as scientific knowledge all go to waste on me, a mere girl who has yet to discover any survivors. If it were my brother to aid these so called powers to be unaffected by the bites of the carnivores infected dead bodies, he could reach a doctor, a scientist like our father to riddance the death of out civilian population, and eliminate the rest who now hold their uprising power against our own, dominating our world, our home, our life. Seems as though I have yet to become strong and will minded, months have gone by, it being almost a year since my brothers disappearance. Is he alive? Dead, or among the living-dead? As all these thoughts run through my mind, I can't help but think this is a dream, a nightmare I've yet to awaken from. That when I do rise from this nightmare I'll see my brother watching over me, taking care for me as I sleep, making sure nothing happens to her clumsy scared sister... It, of course, is not a dream, or a nightmare. It is reality, and I as a survivor.. must accept my fate for what it is..."
